Mariah Carey has canceled her birthday concert in Brussels in the wake of this week’s terrorist attacks.
“I love my fans in Brussels and at this time I am being advised to cancel my show for the safety of my fans, my band, crew and everyone involved with the tour,” she tweeted Friday evening. “I hope to see you soon and send my prayers and eternal love, laughter and light to my Lambs.”
Suicide bombers attacked the Brussels Zaventem Airport and the Maelbeek subway station on Tuesday killed 31 lives and wounded over 270 others.
Carey is in the midst of European dates for the Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour. The pop star is scheduled to perform in Luxembourg on Saturday and was going play Brussels on Sunday. She has a show in Copenhagen on Tuesday.
