Kanye West Wants You to Know He Really, Really Likes Will Ferrell

Zoolander No. 2 wasn’t a hit with critics, but Kanye West says he’s now seen the film twice and is lauding the man behind the villainous (but fashion-forward) Mugatu with particularly high praise. “Will Ferrell has reached walking living breathing god status!” West tweeted Saturday morning. “His existence is a blessing.” The rapper also thanked Ferrell for “the years of joy he has brought into my life with amazing comedy.” West then went on to commend the Zoolander sequel’s art direction, calling it “candy on the screens!” “It is so inspiring,” he added. “Thank you for existing!” See West’s full stream of tweets about Ferrell and Zoolander No. 2 below. Man City passed on the chance to sign Man United starlet Marcus Rashford

Manchester United fans found a new hero on Thursday night when Marcus Rashford came to the rescue in their Europa League round of 32 second leg against Midtjylland. The 18-year-old was drafted in from the reserves to score twice in a 5-1 dream debut. For many United fans it was the first time they had seen the forward in action. His quality was clear, finishing like a player ten years his senior. Rashford is also built like a seasoned pro or a boxer (the word explosive was used to describe his style on BT Sport). This mustn’t have always been the case. For it has emerged that Manchester City had the chance to sign Rashford but passed up the opportunity because of his then small size. Extraordinary oversight in this day and age. Many would pick David Silva and Sergio Aguero as City’s two best players. They’re both 5’7. So is Rashford. A prodigy at the esteemed youth club Fletcher Moss Rangers, Rashford’s old club spoke to the Times in the wake of his incredible E

Former Mexican President Says Donald Trump ‘Reminds Me of Hitler’

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox said Donald Trump reminds him of Adolf Hitler , escalating the insults he’s leveled at the Republican frontrunner this week. “Today, he’s going to take that nation (U.S.) back to the old days of conflict, war and everything. I mean, he reminds me of Hitler. That’s the way he started speaking,” Fox said in a phone interview with CNN on Friday. In an interview with Fusion earlier this week, Fox said Mexico would not pay for the wall that Trump has vowed to build along the U.S. border with Mexico. Trump has said he will make Mexico pay for the wall. “I declare, I’m not going to pay for that f–king wall,” Fox said in the interview. “He should pay for it. He’s got the money.” Fox doubled down on that comment in Friday’s interview and refused to apologize. “He has offended Mexico, Mexicans, (and) immigrants. He has offended the Pope,” Fox said. “He has offended the Chinese. He’s offended everybody.” Trump has been compared to the Naz

Late Leonardo Ulloa goal keeps Leicester on track at the top of the table

Leonardo Ulloa kept Leicester's title bid alive with a dramatic late winner to deny Norwich a priceless point. The substitute fired in from close range with just two minutes left as the Foxes moved five points clear at the top of the Barclays Premier League with a 1-0 win. Ulloa netted just his third goal of the season to get Claudio Ranieri's side out of jail as they struggled to break down a stubborn Norwich side who deserved a point. Cameron Jerome missed the Canaries' best chance when he headed wide in the first half while John Ruddy saved from Marc Albrighton and Jamie Vardy. Leicester were subdued for most of the game - thanks largely to Norwich boss Alex Neil's fine tactical tweak as the Canaries played with five at the back. It shackled 19-goal Vardy, who struggled to make an impact, but Ulloa bailed them out late on. Boss Ranieri has insisted their next five games - starting against the Canaries - were key to their title chances and they s

Late Ivanovic header helps Chelsea hit back to defeat Southampton

Chelsea recovered from conceding the opening goal to earn an impressive 2-1 Barclays Premier League win at Southampton. Even after the hosts had gone ahead through Shane Long's fine first-half goal, the Blues continued to play with confidence and became the first team to score against Southampton in seven games thanks to Cesc Fabregas' cross-cum-shot in the 75th minute. Branislav Ivanovic's close-range 89th-minute header then secured a victory that likely ends seventh-placed Southampton's faint hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League. The result leaves Saints seven points behind the top four and Chelsea, in 11th, still in pursuit of the top 10, but the additional three points strengthens their sense of momentum in a season that may yet not prove so dreadful. Enjoying a run of five wins from their past six fixtures, it was surprising that Southampton manager Ronald Koeman made changes to his team in replacing striker Graziano Pelle

Salma Hayek Says Her Dog Was Fatally Shot

Salma Hayek is mourning the death of a loved one. The actress revealed heartbreaking news on Instagram Friday when she announced that her dog Mozart was fatally shot a week ago. “I haven’t posted for a week as I been mourning the death of my dog, Mozart who I personally delivered out of his mother’s womb,” Hayek, 49, wrote. “He was found dead in my ranch last Friday with a shot close to his heart. I am hoping that the Washington State authorities do justice to this wonderful dog whom in 9 years never bit or attacked anyone.” Adding, “He loved his territory and never strayed away… he was the most loving and loyal companion. He didn’t deserve a slow and painful death.” The animal lover often expresses her fondness for her pets, many of which she adopted. “I have five horses, four alpacas, one cat, eight dogs, one hamster, five parrots, two fish, I’m sure I’m forgetting something!” Hayek said on the Ellen DeGeneres show in October 2013. “You k

Kylian Mbappe breaks Thierry Henry’s record to become Monaco’s youngest ever scorer

The record had stood ever since Henry scored his first goal for Monaco back in 1995 aged 17; now Mbappe has emulated him, aged a few months younger. And this time it could easily last way longer than 21 years.

Southampton vs Chelsea preview: In-form clubs clash at St Mary's

It’s a big game for…. Fraser Forster: The Southampton goalkeeper will equal a club record this weekend if he manages to keep a clean sheet against the likes of Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Willian to earn his seventh on the trot in the Premier League. But this will prove an arduous task against an in-form Chelsea side who come into Saturday’s game having scored 12 goals in their last four, so Forster will need to demonstrate the form that has had England boss Roy Hodgson lurking with this summer’s Euros in mind. He’s widely tipped to be Joe Hart’s reserve at the tournament, so a solid performance against the champions will be one Forster is looking to have in his back pocket. Best stat… The Saints have picked up 16 points from the last 18 on offer, the best tally in the Premier League. Remember when… Chelsea were in the midst of their barren spell earlier this season when Steven Davis expertly netted this clever goal, one straight from the training ground, to brin

Antonio Conte agrees deal to become Chelsea’s new manager

Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport have a important headline for Chelsea fans.  According to the  paper, current Italian coach Antonio Conte has agreed a deal in principle to become the new Chelsea boss. The front page headline claims Conte and Chelsea have a ‘basic agreement’. The Conte links to Stamford Bridge are not new. Indeed, Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio has recently reported that Conte has spoken to Chelsea about taking over from Guus Hiddink for the beginning of next season, after he completes his job with the Azzurri at Euro 2016. Getting into the meat of the story, GdS report that Chelsea have given a “serious nod” to Conte after “direct contact” with the Italian coach. Gazzetta also suggest the parties may have agreed a pre-contract already, however it’s noted that Roman Abramovich still has the option to tank the deal. Diego Simone and Massimo Allegri remain the main alternatives to Conte. Chelsea are expected to confirm their new mana

Felipe Anderson will join Man United this summer, says Lazio president

Italian outlet Calciomercato have reported some interesting news for Manchester United fans today. According to Lazio president Claudio Lotito, Brazilian midfielder Felipe Anderson will join Man United this summer. Not only has he claimed the transfer is a ‘done deal’, but Lotito has also disclosed that the Red Devils will spend 60 million euros on the 23-year-old. Déjà vu anyone? Stories linking Anderson with Old Trafford have been swirling for many months already. United have been reportedly close to wrapping up the deal many times before. So can this latest report be trusted? What’s different this time is the source of the information. Apart from his role at Lazio, Lotito is also the chairman of Serie B side Salterniata, and he made the comments regarding Felipe Anderson before today’s match with Crotone. According to the reports, Lotito said: Felipe Anderson will move to Manchester United next season, for €60 million.  I bought Felipe Anderson for €8 million, an

Sport: Jose Mourinho targets a Barcelona defender for Man United

The latest rumours coming out from the English press is that Mourinho could replace Roy Hodgson as the England manager after Euro 2016 . Nevertheless, Spanish paper Sport are today claiming that Mourinho has targetted a Barcelona centre-half for United: Marc Bartra. The 25-year-old has struggled to play much first team football for the Catalans this season, and Bartra is deemed surplus to requirements at the Camp Nou. Sport label Bartra as the fifth central defender at Barca, while the player is apparently “disappointed” with his opportunities at the club. Man United are thought to be preparing a 12 million euro offer for the Spanish defender. Bartra is currently under contract at Barca until 2017. His agent is Carles Puyol. [ 101greatgoals.com ]

Real Madrid vs Atlético Madrid, La Liga: Team News, Match Preview

The only thing about football leagues that is bad sometimes is the lack of a Final. One single deciding game between two teams that decides the championship. But that's the reason why leagues exist: to reward the most consistent, best performing team in a country that season. In this season of La Liga , Barcelona is set to be rewarded for their spectacular domestic year. With a gigantic lead at the top of the table, the Blaugrana are in prime position to win the Spanish League title. However, with 13 games to go, it's impossible to guarantee that the Catalans already own the trophy, especially with the strength of two of their league opponents. On Saturday afternoon, the two face each other in the Spanish capital, and it is one of those games you can call a Final: Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid are next to each other in third and second place in the table, respectively, and they meet at Santiago Bernabéu in a game that will decide wh

Barcelona concede that Man City have won the race to sign Aymeric Laporte

It’s very rare that Barcelona concede defeat in the transfer market but the Catalan giants have accepted that Manchester City have beaten them to the signing of Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte, report Sport . The deciding factor was, you guessed it, the announcement that Pep Guardiola will be managing there next season. A big move has been on the cards for some time for Laporte. A French U-21 international, he’s been a star in the Bilbao defence for the last four years. His release clause is €50 million so the deal is going to be expensive. City’s defensive frailty in the absence of Vincent Kompany would give Guardiola licence to reinforce his backline. Manchester United were also known to be after the 21-year-old centre-half. The ripple effect of the Guardiola coup is only starting to be felt. The fact that City can lure stars away from clubs like Barcelona for sporting reasons rather than simply financial ones is a fascinating development. [ 101greatg

Leicester vs Norwich preview: Foxes hoping to keep pace at top of the Premier League

It’s a big game for… Robbie Brady: A daunting task lays ahead for the Republic of Ireland international this weekend, who comes face to face with Leicester’s top assist creator, Riyad Mahrez. The Algeria international has ten assists this campaign, only fewer to Mesut Ozil, and will be refreshed after a weekend off and looking to make amends for their loss at the Emirates, two weeks ago. Brady will need to, somehow, quash the threat of the winger, who has also netted 15 goals this season and will play a vital role if the Canaries are going to get the much-needed points to help their fight against relegation. Best stat… 20: It has been over 20 years since Leicester last hosted Norwich City in a top-flight fixture, when a goal from Garry Parker sealed a 1-0 victory for the Foxes. Remember when… Leicester won 2-1 in the reverse fixture at Carrow Road earlier in the season, with a Jamie Vardy penalty and a 47th-minute strike by Jeffrey Schlupp enough to take three poin

Hillary Clinton Aims for Decisive Win in South Carolina

In the four days before the South Carolina Democratic primary, Hillary Clinton visited a historically black university, appeared on stage with a grammy-nominated R&B artist, held a meeting with the mothers of African-Americans who have been , and had surrogates like Cory Booker and Jim Clyburn out to campaign for her. She was in South Carolina every day since Tuesday, according to her public schedule, and had at least 10 events in the state since Tuesday. During the same period, Bernie Sanders had just three. The two Democrats’ schedules reflect their vastly different hopes in the state’s Democratic primary on Saturday. Clinton is campaigning for a landslide victory in South Carolina, while Sanders is already looking ahead to Minnesota, Colorado, Illinois and beyond. The calculus for the Vermont senator in South Carolina is daunting. Polls show him an average of about 25 points behind in the state, and he has not shown an ability to break through with the bulk of black voters th

Manchester United vs Arsenal preview:Louis van Gaal’s Red Devils look to close in on top four

It’s a big game for… Anthony Martial: In the absence of United’s top scorer, Wayne Rooney, the Frenchman will face Arsenal as Louis Van Gaal’s top scorer with 10 goals this season. However, he pulled up in the warm-up against FC Midtjylland and couldn't play on Thursday night. The Gunners visit Old Trafford on the back of a decent defensive display for much of the game against Barcelona in midweek – who possess arguably the best attacking trio in world football – so it is up to the 20-year-old to break it down. A decent opportunity is open for Martial to prove he can beat the best, having failed to score against any of the current top four this campaign. Best stat… 6: Manchester United have been dominant against Arsenal in recent meetings at Old Trafford, winning six of their past eight in the league, drawing twice. Remember when… The Gunners comfortably beat United 3-0 earlier in the season, to end a run of eight league matches without victory. An Alexis Sanc

Liverpool to play Manchester United in Europa League last 16

Jürgen Klopp claimed he wanted to draw Manchester United in the last 16 of the Europa League as Liverpool need to “clear something” after two defeats to Louis van Gaal’s team this season. England’s most successful clubs were pitted against each other for the first time in European competition on Friday, with the mouthwatering ties taking place at Anfield on 10 March and Old Trafford a week later. The first leg will kick-off at 8.05pm, the second at 6pm. Van Gaal has never lost against Liverpool, winning all four Premier League games as United manager including a 3-1 win at home to Brendan Rodgers’ team in September and last month’s 1-0 win on Merseyside . Wayne Rooney’s 78th-minute winner at Anfield effectively ended Liverpool’s hopes of Champions League qualification and left Klopp wanting redress. Having predicated a meeting of the fierce north west rivals before Liverpool overcame Augsburg in the last 32, the Liverpool manager believes that opportunity has arri

College Bans Energy Drinks for Contributing to ‘High-Risk Sexual Activity’

Middlebury College in Vermont is banning on-campus sales of energy drinks , claiming they are linked to “problematic behavior” such as “high-risk sexual activity” and abuse of “intoxicating” substances, reports NBC News . The ban, which will take effect on March 7, will apply to popular beverages such as Red Bull and 5-hour ENERGY , according to The Middlebury Campus . Dining Services officials said the drinks don’t encourage a healthy lifestyle for the college’s students. “Energy drink consumption facilitates unhealthy work habits such as prolonged periods of sleeplessness, contributing to a campus culture of stress and unsustainable study habits.”a flyer in Middlebury’s Wilson Cafe reads. Gianni Infantino: Five tasks for the new Fifa President

Gianni Infantino was on Friday voted in as Fifa ninth president and first new head since 1998. The Swiss-Italian administrator, previously Uefa vice-president, will be tasked with trying to improve and re-brand an institution many view as rotten to the core. Here are five crucial tasks he must undertake as new Fifa President. Implement the reforms passed in the extraordinary congress in full and without compromise and help member associations to do the same in an effort to change the culture of football governance.   Appoint a secretary general, effectively a chief executive, to oversee the day-to-day running of FIFA. The president nominates an individual, who is then approved by the council, provided integrity checks are passed.   Be open, honest and, yes, transparent. Shareholders Applaud Apple CEO in Fight With FBI

Apple CEO Tim Cook got a standing ovation Friday at his first stockholder meeting since his company’s epic clash with the FBI unfolded. He defended the company’s unbending stand by saying: “These are the right things to do.” On Thursday, the tech giant formally challenged a court order to help the FBI unlock an encrypted iPhone used by a murderous extremist in San Bernardino, California. Federal officials have said they’re only asking for narrow assistance in bypassing some of the phone’s security features. But Apple contends the order would force it to write a software program that would make other iPhones vulnerable to hacking by authorities or criminals in the future. Major tech companies are also rallying to Apple’s cause, and now plan a joint “friend of the court” brief on its behalf. Facebook said it will join with Google, Twitter and Microsoft on a joint court filing. A Twitter spokeswoman confirmed that plan, but said that different companies and trade assoc

Mark Zuckerberg Has Some Smart Advice For Twitter

Twitter has spent its entire existence, especially since becoming a public company, in the shadow of Facebook. So maybe it shouldn’t come as a shock that someone asked Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg what he would do if he was CEO of Twitter, which has suffered stalled user growth and a slumping stock price in recent months. Zuckerberg fielded the question at a town hall Q&A session in Berlin, according to VentureBeat . Though he initially said he didn’t know how to answer the question, he eventually pivoted to crow about Facebook’s own successes, especially the rapid growth of Instagram. The photo-sharing network is similar to Twitter in that many people flock to it in order to keep up with public figures, according to Zuckerberg. But Instagram has now exceeded Twitter by many major metrics. Instagram has more than 400 million users compared to Twitter’s 320 million and it has 200,000 advertisers compared to Twitter’s 130,000. The next big development in this relat

70-year old man, 2 others rape15-year-old girl

Delta State Police Command said it arrested three men, including a 70-year old, for allegedly ravishing a 15-year old girl in Agbor, the administrative headquarters of Ika South Local Government Area of the state. The men were identified as Mr Kenneth Okoro, aged 58 years, Mr Abolity A. Ogwu, 65 years, and Mr Paul Ogwe who is aged 70. According to the state command spokeswoman, Mrs Celestina Kalu, a duty superintendent of police (DSP), the three were arrested following a report at Police Station Agbor by the mother of the victim, Mrs Patricia Oroyelu. What the 9 Zika-Infected Pregnant Women in the U.S. Did

Nine pregnant women in the United States have tested positive for Zika , according to U.S. health officials. In a new report , the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says that among the 9 confirmed cases in pregnant women, two of the women had miscarriages, two women elected to have abortions, two infants were born healthy, one baby was born with microcephaly, and two pregnancies are still ongoing. The agency is also investigating 10 additional possible infections in pregnant women. In the two women who elected to have an abortion, imaging showed the fetus brain was impacted, experts from the CDC said during a press conference. Health experts are still trying to definitively prove that the virus is linked to microcephaly, but the evidence is very strong that that’s the case. All of the pregnant women reported at least one of the most common symptoms of Zika: fever, rash, red eyes, or joint pain. Among the women who had miscarriages, abortions,

Donald Trump Promises to Make America Litigious Again

Donald Trump won raucous cheers from his Fort Worth, Texas, crowd on Friday when he promised supporters that he would make it easier for them to sue journalists with whom they disagreed. Even so, it was not the only outrageous thing the billionaire offered his crowd a day after weathering his toughest debate yet and picking up the backing from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. His giant rally in deeply conservative Texas was a reminder that no one in the Republican field of White House hopefuls can put on a show like Trump. Among the rally’s Trump talking points: Reporters are dishonest, deserve to be punished and their corporate owners want to push a political agenda. Rivals Marco Rubio is a “low-life” and Ted Cruz is “a liar.” Christians need their rights protected, Muslims should be banned from coming to the United States, and Mexico is still going to pay for an ever-taller wall along the border. In a new twist on how Trump would promote his agenda—and defend it f

Kim Kardashian West Wants ‘Everyone to Be as Honest as Kanye’

Kim Kardashian West is standing by her man. The reality star dedicated Friday’s entire “Currently” post – which gives fans an insight into her daily thoughts and feelings – on her website/app to defending the rapper against criticism of his new album and Twitter rants (including a renewed Taylor Swift beef). Kardashian West, 35, wrote that she is loving “my husband,” hating “that people don’t get that Kanye will stand up against the whole world for his creativity and art,” wearing “Yeezy Season 3 samples I took from the show,” wanting “everyone to be as honest as Kanye,” watching “Kanye shoot his new video” and reading “Kanye’s tweets.” She’s also listening to his song “I Love Kanye” off The Life of Pablo . As for her current Kimoji mood? An avatar of her own hand with a well-manicured middle finger sticking up. The mom to North , 2, and Saint , almost 3 months, also seemed to dispel gossip about the state of the celebrities’ marriage. In this week’s issue of P

Syria conflict: Obama says next few weeks 'critical'

The next few weeks, including a two-week ceasefire set to begin on Friday, will be “ critical ” to Syria’s future, according to President Obama. Obama said the truce would only succeed if all parties, including the Syrian government and Russia, adhered to the terms of the agreement and ceased all hostilities in the war-torn region, reports the BBC. “The world will be watching,” he added. Obama acknowledged that violence in the country will not immediately cease due to rivalry between rebel groups and the ongoing effort to eradicate the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) extremist group. “More people are realizing that [ISIS] is not a caliphate, it’s a crime ring. They are not winning over hearts and minds, they are under pressure,” he said. The main opposition umbrella group representing rebels trying to depose Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has accepted the two week truce, as has a northern Kurdish militia called the Popular Protection Units (YPG),

Ben Carson Lost the Debate But Won the Internet

Ben Carson was largely forgotten at the Republican debate Thursday night, but he threw out some memorable lines during his few minutes in the spotlight. The former neurosurgeon spoke for the least amount of time of the five candidates onstage with just over ten minutes of the more than two-hour debate. (The second lowest was Florida Sen. Marco Rubio with just over sixteen minutes.) Businessman Donald Trump spoke for more than a half hour. At one point, Carson even begged his rivals to attack him so he would get speaking time in response: “Can somebody attack me, please?” Carson asked about two hours into the debate. But during those ten minutes of speech, Carson said some wonderfully quotable lines that got the Internet talking. In his opening statement, Carson said the country is “heading off the abyss of destruction.” Later, in his most viral moment of the debate, Carson said that to evaluate a potential Supreme Court nominee he would “go through and I would lo

Why Donald Trump Can’t Lose

Donald Trump’s history in business and politics is pocked with bankruptcies and fraud allegations, illegal immigrants on his payroll and donations to Democrats from his checkbooks. All were used against him during Thursday night’s debate, but it’s entirely possible none of it mattered. Trump has comfortable leads in the polls heading toward Super Tuesday, just five days away, and his campaign so far has weathered all kinds of bad news. After months of leading the pack, Trump seems immune to those who would challenge him on positions and statements that, for anyone else, should have proved disqualifying. That didn’t stop Florida Sen. Marco Rubio from using the last debate before voters cast ballots on Tuesday in 12 states to directly challenge the billionaire. Rival Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, too, came for Trump, but from the right. It was clear that Rubio was pitching a message that would help him survive a fight in his home state of Florida and perhaps battle toward a mu

Polls Open in Iran’s Parliamentary Elections

(TEHRAN, Iran) — Polls opened Friday in Iran’s parliamentary elections, the country’s first since its landmark nuclear deal with world powers last summer. The vote is in part seen as a referendum on the policies of moderate President Hassan Rouhani, who is credited with bringing about the deal that curbed Iran’s nuclear activities in exchange for the lifting of crippling international sanctions. At the same time as parliamentary elections, Iranians are also voting for the Assembly of Experts, a clerical body empowered to choose or dismiss the country’s supreme leader. State TV showed long lines of people waiting to cast their ballots in the twin elections as the polls opened. Some 53,000 polling stations throughout Iran are taking ballots for the 290-member parliament and the 88-member Experts Assembly. Nearly 55 million Iranians are eligible to vote. In the parliament vote, reformists seeking greater democratic changes and moderates supporting Rouhani are pitted
